Andrew Scott founded AUS Environmental Services in November 2019 in the Ohio Valley, and has run it as an owner-operator since. Every program is managed directly — no account-management layer between a facilities manager and the person responsible for the work.
That means the person who walks a building, prices the scope, and answers the phone at 9 PM is the same person. For a facilities manager, it removes the most common failure point in commercial janitorial: the gap between what was sold and what gets delivered.
Built on the work itself.
AUS began with the owner performing the work. It grew into recurring commercial programs, multi-location retail floor care, and regional deployments across Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana — including a six-year continuous janitorial program for a regional financial institution from 2019 through 2026, and a 71-location deployment completed across three states in a three-week window.
The operational systems the company runs on — estimating and pricing, work-order intake, vendor coordination, quality control, service documentation, and client closeout reporting — were built the same way: because the work required them, by the person doing the work.
