A floor that needed a reset, not another recoat.
A regional retail facility in Huntington, West Virginia had a VCT floor where finish had failed. Recoating would have sealed the problem in rather than fixing it — when finish has broken down to tile in traffic areas, the only correct answer is a full strip and rebuild.
The facility also wanted evidence. Not a description of what was done, but a record of the floor's condition at each stage.
Four stages, each documented.
Restoration ran in four sequential stages, each photographed before moving to the next. The progression below is the actual documentation from the job.

The floor was returned to full finish. More usefully for the client, the four-stage sequence gives them a record they can show ownership or a district manager without taking anyone's word for it.
This is the standard AUS applies to floor work generally — every job produces a closeout report with the same kind of documentation, whether or not anyone asks for it.
